After taking this class, I feel that I have a better understanding of how our society works and how it influences my life. 鈥淚 realized that many people are frustrated with the system we live in today, but that a big part is also us. I realized that I can make a lot of difference in the community, and that we as individuals in masses probably are able to change the system more effectively, than if only certain leaders, like the president, would do it in changing certain laws. 鈥淚 enjoyed the weeks of class where we focused on Institutional Oppression, TNJC, Black Lives Matter and Constructing the Border.
