С»Æ贫ý has made significant strides in our climate action progress and now it is time to update our 2013 Climate Action Plan (CAP). In addition to building off the progress we have already made, the updated 2021 CAP advances climate justice by setting science-based targets for carbon neutrality, addresses local inequities exacerbated by climate change, emphasizes resiliency, and centers equity both in the engagement process and mitigation strategies.

We worked with the firm to assist in updating the Climate Action Plan. This planning process aligns with the college’s strategic planning efforts. Timeline

Below was our timeline for 2020, though this schedule was made to be flexible.

  • February – March: Data gathering and current state assessment
  • April – June: Main stakeholder engagement
  • June – October: Drafting of Climate Action Plan
  • October – December: Opportunity for feedback and finalizing of 2020 Climate Action Plan
