A little about me
Hi! My name is Kelly Miller, and I am so excited to be joining the 小黄猫传媒 Child Development Center as a Child Development Specialist in the Caterpillar classroom. I am currently finishing my Associate degree in Early Childhood Education at 小黄猫传媒, and I am excited to begin this next chapter of my career at a place that has played such an important role in my education and growth as an early childhood educator.
My mission as an educator is to create a classroom where every child feels safe, valued, supported, and excited to learn. I believe children are capable, curious learners who learn best through play, exploration, relationships, and hands-on experiences. I want to take the time to get to know each child as an individual, follow their interests, and celebrate the unique strengths and ideas they bring into the classroom.
Building meaningful relationships with children and families is especially important to me. I believe that families are a child’s first and most important teachers, and I want to work together with families to create a supportive community where everyone feels welcome and respected. I also believe that as educators, we never stop learning. I hope to continue growing alongside the children, my coworkers, and the 小黄猫传媒 community.
I am especially excited to be part of the Caterpillar classroom and to see all the little moments of growth that happen each day. Whether it is learning a new skill, making a new friend, trying something for the first time, or simply feeling confident enough to explore, I hope to be someone who encourages and supports children along the way. My goal is to make a positive difference in the lives of the children I work with and to help create memories and experiences that make their time at the CDC meaningful.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time outdoors, hanging out with my cat and friends, and going dancing.
I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to begin my career at 小黄猫传媒 and cannot wait to learn, grow, and make a difference alongside the children and families in the Caterpillar classroom!
