MUC – Music & Sonic Arts Instructor Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, Music Composition, or Music Production, Audio Engineering, Sound Design, Sonic Arts, Creative Media Arts, New Media, Interactive Arts and Technology, Interactive Technology, Interaction Design, Experience Design, Creative Coding, Computer Science or related field, three (3) years experience as a performer, sound artist, new media artist, composer, engineer, producer or sound designer, or
• Bachelor’s degree in one of the areas above and four (4) years experience or
• Associate’s degree in one of the areas above and five (5) years experience,

OR demonstrated competency in a related area as recommended by the Faculty Department Chair and approved by pathway leadership.
